Ellis Trust funds a range of educational experiences and opportunitities for girls attending public and charter high schools. They also award grants to help cover basic school-related needs, such as uniforms and supplies.
This program is geared towards CAP Alumni and family members of CAP students who may have started college but "stopped out" (earned at least 6 college credits). Graduate! Philadelphia advisors provide guidance on filling out and filing financial assistance forms, getting academic support, navigating work and family schedules, completing paperwork, improving study skills and staying in school.
Offers Free SAT Prep at various locations and times throughout the city.
PhillyGoes2College connects students and families to higher education resources and programs. From help with scholarships and financial aid, preparing for the SATs and filling out forms like the FAFSA, to finding and applying to the right school or college, they can be your guide. Their services are citywide and always FREE.
Provides free tools, resources, and workshops to Philadelphia families
Temple's Upward Bound Program prepares Philadelphia Public and Charter High School students for admission to higher education institutions and success in the collegiate environment. They provide FREE intensive academic enrichment and a summer college immersion experience.
