Parent & Family Engagement (PFE)

MAKE A DIFFERENCE IN YOUR CHILD'S LIFE. GET INVOLVED!

“Regardless of family income or background, students whose parents are involved in their schooling are more likely to have higher grades and test scores, attend school regularly, have better social skills, show improved behavior, and adapt well to school.”
- Henderson, A.T. & Mapp, K.L. (2002). A new wave of evidence: The impact of school, family, and community connections on student achievement.

Parent involvement is crucial to the health and well-being of a child. As a parent, you are the most important influence in your child's success in school and in life. Through our parental involvement opportunities, you are able to get more involved with your child and our school.

CAP is dedicated to providing quality education to the urban youth of Philadelphia. In order to effectively accomplish this, we must continue to develop and maintain effective partnerships with the parents of the children we serve.
