As another incredible school year comes to a close, we take a moment to reflect on the many accomplishments, traditions, and celebrations that made this year so special. From our youngest Bruins taking their first steps toward elementary school to our seniors crossing the graduation stage, the past few weeks have been filled with pride, excitement, and unforgettable memories.
Honoring CAP Traditions: The Class of 2026
For our seniors, the final weeks of school were filled with cherished CAP traditions that mark the end of one journey and the beginning of another.
Students received their yearbooks and Class of 2026 lawn signs, spending time signing pages, sharing memories, and reflecting on the friendships and experiences that shaped their years at CAP.
The excitement continued during Senior Decision Day and Zero Day, two beloved CAP traditions. Seniors proudly showcased their post-graduation plans while enjoying dance battles, shaving cream pies for teachers, a special performance from Mr. Richichi and Mr. Dannaway, and a surprise visit from the Penn State Nittany Lion. The celebration concluded with students taking their final bite of their Zero Day bagel, symbolizing the end of classes and the start of their next chapter.
Zero Day serves as a meaningful reminder of how far our seniors have come, celebrating their growth, perseverance, and accomplishments while looking ahead to the opportunities that await them.
Celebrating the Class of 2026
The culmination of years of hard work, dedication, and determination came as the Class of 2026 officially became CAP graduates.
This year's graduation ceremony celebrated countless assignments completed, challenges overcome, friendships formed, and memories created. We proudly recognized Valedictorian Oscar Duran Lopez and Salutatorian Amy Tang for their outstanding academic achievements.
We extend our sincere appreciation to guest speaker Theresa M. Connors for sharing words of encouragement with our graduates and their families. We also thank National Honor Society President Atalia Ramos, whose heartfelt remarks reflected on the memories, accomplishments, and experiences that united the Class of 2026 throughout their CAP journey.
As our graduates move forward to colleges, careers, military service, and new adventures, they leave behind a legacy of determination, growth, and Bruin pride. Once a Bruin, always a Bruin.
8th Grade Promotion: Looking Toward the Future
We proudly celebrated our 8th Grade Promotion Ceremony, recognizing students for their hard work, perseverance, and achievements as they prepare for high school.
A special thank you goes to student speaker Evaleen Huynh, whose inspiring remarks reflected on the friendships, experiences, and accomplishments that have shaped this class.
This group holds a unique place in CAP history. As the future Golden Bruins Class of 2030, they will be the graduating class that celebrates CAP's 50th Anniversary—a historic milestone in our school's legacy. Their journey toward this special celebration has officially begun.
Kindergarten Move-Up Ceremony
Our youngest Bruins had their moment to shine during the Kindergarten Move-Up Ceremony.
Families and friends gathered to celebrate a year filled with learning, growth, and discovery. Students proudly showcased their accomplishments through songs, presentations, and performances that highlighted all they have learned throughout the year.
From mastering letters and numbers to building friendships and confidence, our kindergarten students have made tremendous progress. We are excited to watch them continue their journey as they move on to 1st grade.
Thank You for an Incredible School Year
As we close the chapter on another successful year, we want to thank our students, families, faculty, staff, and community partners for helping make CAP such a special place.
This year was filled with academic achievements, meaningful experiences, school traditions, and countless moments that strengthened our Bruin community. Together, we celebrated milestones, supported one another, and created memories that will last a lifetime.
We wish everyone a safe, relaxing, and enjoyable summer break. Thank you for being part of the CAP family, and we look forward to welcoming everyone back in August for another year of Bruin Pride.
Happy Summer, Bruins!
