Our 5th graders traveled the globe with Ms. Owens without leaving the classroom as they celebrated Holidays Around the World! Students explored various winter traditions and celebrations from different cultures—complete with their very own passport stamped along the way!
In Ms. Toughills small groups, students watched a short introduction video about winter holidays around the world, read excerpts from Celebrations of Light and Christmas Around the World, discovered fun
holiday facts, and wrapped up the experience by coloring a festive pictures.
A wonderful way to learn, celebrate, and appreciate the many traditions that make our world so special!
