IMPORTANT DATES FOR SENIOR YEAR

2019-2020

The following is a list of events and experiences that are normally part of senior year, as well as an estimate of the cost. The purpose of this list is to help parents manage senior year with as little stress as possible and maximize the opportunity for students to participate in senior activities. This list does not guarantee actual costs or fees, but simply provides a guideline for planning.

 

Friday, September 6th: Senior Orientation

 

 

Friday, September 13th: Typed Thesis Due

 

 

Tuesday, September 25th:  Senior Photos

Packages range from $25 to $65, with a la carte additional prints from $15 to $30 (Tippings)

 

 

Friday, October 5th: Deadline for November SAT

Registration fee: $49 (LATE REGISTRATION FEE: ADDITIONAL $26)

Friday, November 2nd: Deadline for December SAT

Registration fee: $49 (LATE REGISTRATION FEE: ADDITIONAL $26)

 

 

Wednesday, November 13th: Typed Rough Draft Due

November:  College Applications

Should be completed by Thanksgiving Cost varies according to college/university

CCP is $20; state schools are from $35 to $50; private colleges are usually $50

 

 

Tuesday, January 8th: CAP and Gown Measurements

 

Wednesday, January 8th: Typed, Written Component Due (Final Paper)

Thursday, January 17th: Josten's Ring Order Visit

Prices START at $69.95 for women and $79.95 for men

 

Wednesday, February 26th: Honors Banquet

 

 

Tuesday, March 26th: Senior Graduation Fee Due:  $150.00 

 

Friday, April 24th: Junior/Senior Prom

Estimated cost: $65.00 per ticket if purchased by March 18th; $85.00 per ticket if purchased after

March 16th. Photo packages are available; prices usually range from $30 and up

Wednesday, April 17th: Ring Delivery

Wednesday, May 1st:  Faculty Appreciation Lunch

A lunch organized and prepared by the seniors for the high school faculty and staff. Students bring in paper products and food.

 

Tuesday, June 2nd: Zero Day

Students are allowed to show their school spirit by ''jazzing up" their appearance with face paint, etc.

 

Wednesday, June 10th: Graduation

There are a limited number of tickets per student; additional tickets ARE NOT AVAILABLE. Everyone who attends the ceremony, including children or infants, MUST have a ticket.

 

ATHLETIC FEES ARE BASED ON PARTICIPATION IN SPORTS. STUDENTS PLAYING ONE SEASON/SPORT PAY A $40 ACTIVITY FEE; A SECOND SEASON/SPORT IS AN ADDITIONAL $30.

 

THERE IS NO CHARGE FOR A THIRD SEASON/SPORT. ADDITIONAL ITEMS, BASED ON SEASON/SPORT/TEAMS, MAY BE REQUIRED. SPORTS TEAMS ALSO HAVE PROFESSIONAL PHOTOS TAKEN THAT MAY BE PURCHASED.
