IMPORTANT DATES FOR SENIOR YEAR

2019-2020

The following is a list of events and experiences that are normally part of senior year, as well as an estimate of the cost. The purpose of this list is to help parents manage senior year with as little stress as possible and maximize the opportunity for students to participate in senior activities. This list does not guarantee actual costs or fees, but simply provides a guideline for planning.

2020 Senior Timeline of Dates 


May 26th Graduation Fees are due.


May 27th There will be no new classroom content assignments after May 27.


May 27-June 2nd Students will be allowed to make up work during this time period.


June 2nd Zero Day for seniors. A virtual activity will be scheduled.


June 3rd Senior grades are due. Students that are ineligible to graduate will be contacted.


June 8th “Senior Send Off” This tradition is just for you.


Who can come? Seniors and anyone that fits in one car. The senior must be sitting in the front
passenger seat. All car passengers must remain in the car during the duration of the drive thru
Senior Send Off. No other cars can be on the school parking lot.


What will happen? Seniors will dress up your cars and drive down the Paw Walk from the
front of the building to the HS Gym doors. Seniors will receive their caps and gowns, diplomas,
t-shirts, etc. from Dr. O’Brien at the end of the path. Seniors will drop off any
books/textbooks/supplies that they owe or donations like uniforms, etc.


Where? Parents and students will drive through the Erie gate, stay in the car at all times, and
follow in the car line.


When? Seniors are to come at their appointed time. The packages are in alphabetical order so
we would know who to expect when.

9:45-10:15: LAST NAME H-N ( 34 )
10:15-11:00: LAST NAME O-S ( 33 )
11:00-11:30: LAST NAME T-Z ( 27 )


Why? Students will have an opportunity to pick up their graduation regalia prior to the airing of
the graduation video and a chance for us to see all of you one last time.


How? Students and their families must be in one car that will drive through the campus (next to
the Paw Walk), pass by some special guests, meet Dr. O’Brien at the end of the driveway and
pick up their graduation package.


June 10th Airing the 40th Graduation of CAP on YouTube for a premiere that is set at
3PM. The “premiere” will play in its entirety. After the graduation is over it will be available on
YouTube.

 

ATHLETIC FEES ARE BASED ON PARTICIPATION IN SPORTS. STUDENTS PLAYING ONE SEASON/SPORT PAY A $40 ACTIVITY FEE; A SECOND SEASON/SPORT IS AN ADDITIONAL $30.

 

THERE IS NO CHARGE FOR A THIRD SEASON/SPORT. ADDITIONAL ITEMS, BASED ON SEASON/SPORT/TEAMS, MAY BE REQUIRED. SPORTS TEAMS ALSO HAVE PROFESSIONAL PHOTOS TAKEN THAT MAY BE PURCHASED.
