CAP Library - Policies & Procedures
Library materials are to be checked out at the circulation desk for a period of two weeks. Students are permitted to check out two materials at a time. (12th-grade students will be permitted to check out up to four materials at a time for senior project use.)
Students will owe a fine of 5 cents per day for overdue materials. Any student with overdue library materials or unpaid fines will not be permitted to check out new items.
Lost or damaged library materials must be replaced at the student’s expense. Any student with a lost or damaged item will not be permitted to check out new items until the replacement fee has been paid; in addition, he or she may lose other library privileges.
USE BY CLASSES AND SMALL GROUPS
All K-4 classes visit the library once per week for a lesson and book checkout. Other classes or groups may be scheduled to use the library on a regular basis. Any teacher who wishes to bring a small group or class to the library for a lesson, research or other use is asked to contact the librarian in advance for availability.
