Happy Friday Everyone!

Just wanted to share with everyone how proud I am of the MS and Ms. Russak. She has taken a group of students to the SPCA three times this year. During that time they created posters for the Second Chance Dogs program, donated blankets at Christmas, and today they donated treats and delivered 350 hand made Valentine's Day Cards. I was able to attend today and am happy to report that not only was the SPCA informative to the kids regarding their services, but also very thankful to CAP and Ms. Russak for the work that they have done this year. The posters that the students made in October are still hanging, and they have posted a sign that listed both the school's name and the names of the participating students beside the posters. Finally, it was so nice to see the MS kids compassion and excitement with the animals.

Thank you Ms. Russak for all of your hard work.

Charter School Spelling Bee

Charter School Spelling Bee will be held February 25, 2010 at CAP----Good luck to the following students who will be participating and representing CAP Middle School: Calvin Trinidad, Jonathan Wehry, Aiyub Amzil, Suenlisse Carrasquillo, and Alliyah Maduro.
