February Announcements
- February is Good Dental Health month.
All lower school students will have a dental screening done by the Temple Pediatric Residency Program at Episcopal Hospital. We appreciate this free service. THANK YOU!
- Feb. 5th Parent/Teacher Conferences - 12:25 Dismissal
"B" Schedule - Aftercare Program OPEN
Conferences are from 1:30 to 5:30 PM by appointment only. Letters were sent home to those parents who the teachers would like to see. If you would like a conference, please send a note to the teacher and an appointment will be set. Students will receive their report cards before they leave.
- Feb. 12th Friendship Day
This day has been set aside to focus on the importance of having good friends. Students will have an opportunity to send a special "Friendship" note to friends and/or relatives.

Please ensure your child has a good night's rest and eats breakfast. This will help them achieve their personal best during exams. - Jan 22 End of 2nd Quarter/1st Semester - Reports will be distributed to the students.

December Announcements
- Dec. 4th WINTER CONCERT - 6:00-7:00 pmAdmission is $1.00. Tickets can be purchased in advance or at the door.
- Dec. 8th FIRST GRADE FIELD TRIP - Franklin Institute - Information has been sent home through your child's home folder.
- Dec. 11th SECOND QUARTER PROGRESS REPORTS - Reports will be distributed to the students.
- Dec. 18th "B" SCHEDULE - Dismissal at 12:25pm - No Aftercare Program
- Dec. 21st - Jan 4th CHRISTMAS BREAK - School will be closed for Christmas break from December 21st till January 4th. We ask during the break to please review and replenish your child's supplies. We hope your holidays are peace-filled.

November Announcements
- All month - THANKSGIVING FOOD DRIVE - During this month, the lower school is collecting can goods and dry foods for Thanksgiving Food Baskets. This is a time of the year when we focus on the many blessings we have and try to heighten our student's awareness. Any canned foods and dried boxed items will be greatly appreciated.
- Nov. 6 through 13 - BOOK FAIR - Students were given a flyer with some of the books offered at the fair. During this week, classes will attend the fair to make their purchases. Please check your child's homework assignments for more information.
- Nov. 11th VETERAN'S DAY - School is closed
- Nov. 12th PARENT/TEACHER CONFERENCES - 4 -7PM *
- Nov. 13th PARENT/TEACHER CONFERENCES - 1:30 -4PM *

October Announcements
- October 1st - All students must wear their winter uniform. Please refer to pgs. 34/35 in Student/Parent Handbook.
- October 2nd - Individual and class pictures will be taken. All students must have their complete winter uniform for pictures.
- October 6th - Red Cross Day - Presenters from American Red Cross will be on campus for the day. Workshops will be given to help our students understand how to prevent fires, prepare for and respond to emergencies. Students will have the opportunity to tour an Emergency Response Vehicle and talk to personnel who worked with Katrina victims.
- October 9th - Progress Reports will be mailed.
- October 12th - School Closed - Columbus Day
- October 19th to 23 - Red Ribbon Week - Once again, our students will reevaluate their goals for the year, discuss how to make good, healthy choices, and promise to say "NO" to drugs. As a symbol of their commitment, each student will tie a red ribbon on the fence toward the back of our campus.
- October 20th - Author Allan St. Jean is coming to visit grades K through 4. Workshops will be given to our students.
- October 30th - End of 1st Quarter - Please look over what projects need to be submitted in time for this grading period.

PSSA Announcement
PSSA parent reports will be handed out at Back to School night. If any parent is unable to attend, CAP will send the report home with your child the next day, Thursday, September 17th.

September Announcements
Welcome back to school. Please remember to bring SOS packets and school supplies with you on the first day.
- September 3 - First Day of School for all grades - "B" Schedule, dismissal at 12:25 PM
- September 4 - First Full Day, dismissal at 3:00 PM. Lunch and After School programs begin. Only students who have pre-registered for the After School program will be able to stay.
- September 7 - School Closed - Labor Day
- September 16 - Back to School Night - 5:00 to 7:00 p.m. Parents are invited to meet their child's teacher. A brief overview of classroom routines and expectations will be presented.
